ScoopDog was invented by Bill Farmer who is known for creating simple, labor saving and recreational devices from his West Texas workshop.

A love of dogs and a battle with cancer planted the seed for ScoopDog. “While undergoing treatment, I became exhausted from all the bending down, cleaning up after our five dogs. I knew there had to be a better way. I thought, how can I do this without having to bend over? And… ScoopDog was born.”
